We at MJ Recruitment Solutions want to advise our Clients and Candidates using our services – that this policy sets out how we use and protect any information you provide us with; when you utilise our services either direct or via our website or via any 3rd Party Job Boards.
MJ Recruitment Solutions is committed to privacy for everyone who accesses the site and uses our recruitment services. Under the GDPR, we must comply with certain regulations which are designed to ensure that any data you provide to us is processed with due care and attention.


WHAT WE COLLECT


MJ Recruitment Solutions acts as a Recruitment Agency and therefore any personal data we collect about you is to help in the recruitment process. This data consists of information such as:-
• Name.
• Address.
• E-mail addresses.
• Contact Numbers.
• Work and Education History.
• Any additional data that is included in your CV/Resume.

We will then store this detail for our use with any additional information relating to your record such as:-

• E-mail Correspondence relating to any specific job opportunities.
• Record of Interviews.
• Job Offers.
• Jobs we have put you forward for.
• Information you have provided to us such as a CV/resume and copies of any additional correspondence.

 

WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT


We process this personal data as necessary to aid the recruitment process, and this includes –
• To provide our recruitment services to you and to facilitate the recruitment process.
• To assess data about you in line with vacancies which we think match your skill set and expertise.
• With your consent to send your information to clients in order to assess your eligibility for roles being advertised by MJ Recruitment Solutions.
• To Market our full range of recruitment services to you – Permanent and Contract.
• To send you Information that we judge maybe of interest to you – e.g. Latest Jobs that we have.
• To carry out our obligations regarding any contract we may have entered into with you.
• To answer your questions and enquiries.
• To third parties connected with the recruitment process such as references checking, criminal checking, psychometric testing.

 

HOW THIS INFORMATION IS SAFEGUARDED


The security of your data is extremely important to us. Access to your personal data is only provided to our organisation in order to help with the recruitment process – All key personal data is removed by us to any prospective employers or customers at time of submission, until your application has progressed to the next stage, the recruitment process is coming to an end, an offer is on the table and has been accepted by the candidate. Your personal data will then be forwarded to any clients or customers in order for Contracts or Offer Letters to be raised. The only time the above will not apply will be if a particular client uses their own online recruitment portal, in which case some personal information will be provided to the client when your CV is first submitted to the vacancy.


HOW DO WE INFORM YOU OF ANY POLICY CHANGES


Any policy changes, either due to business reasons or future changes in legislation, this Policy will be updated and will be posted on this page and, if substantial, may be promoted on the website or through e-mail notification.


HOW DO WE OBTAIN YOUR DATA AND REMOVE YOUR DATA


How do we obtain your data and how do you remove your name and details from our database?
From 25th May 2018 when the GDPR is implemented, if you have applied for a specific job vacancy, your consent for us to hold your data will have been obtained at point of application, via the job board application website.
If we have obtained your data from other means (e.g. direct email, searches from online databases, CV’s received via an online database etc ), you will have already given consent for your data to be obtained/viewed by recruiters for the purpose of your job search.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your personal data is kept up to date on any job boards that you subscribe too. Any changes to your data requiring updates or removal of – we will automatically be notified by the relevant job boards or you may contact us direct to request removal of your details from our database by emailing info@mjrecruitmentsolutions.com or call one of our offices on 01303 891560 or 01634 222258 and your details will be removed.


After 24 months if we have not had contact with you we will automatically remove your data.


If we have received your Data prior to 25th May 2018 we will be contacting candidates advising them that we will continue to hold their data as a Legitimate Interest and offering them the option to be removed.

 

SENDING US INFORMATION OVER THE INTERNET


Your information is held on servers hosted by our internet Services Provider. The transmission of information via the internet is not 100% secure and although we will do our best to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site, any transmission is at your own risk.


REQUESTING PERSONAL DATA

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.


CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY


Privacy laws and practice are constantly developing and our policies and procedures are therefore under continual review. We may, from time to time, update our security and privacy policies and suggest that you check this page periodically to review our latest policies.
